Tucked in the Tuscarora mountains amidst the rolling hills and farmlands of central New York, Forest Lake is situated in Leatherstocking country where pioneers once carved homesteads out of wilderness. Relax and enjoy the wonders of nature, colorful wildflowers, birds of every size and a variety of other wildlife. Hike the many trails, or take the one mile walk around the lake.
The fishing is good. Bass and bullheads in abundance (no license required). Bring your own boat
(rowboat, canoe or small sailboat-no gas motors)-or rent a canoe. Our private lake is 22 acres and has a
marked swimming area for your safety.
